Default Heading to the track this afternoon!!

Well, this time I have a different game plan for the track. I pulled off the heavy *** 305-50-20's and threw on the polished aluminum 16's with some 245-70-16 tire I got for free. These are almost 3" shorter than my other wheels and alot lighter. Im also gonna run in 4wd for some hard boost launches. Last time I hit the track was with the big wheels and running in 2wd. with a best of 14.0 , I think I should hit 13's pretty easy this time. The truck is stupid now with the small tires, soon as i get into boost it just roasts the tires and kicks the truck side ways down the street. I post up later tonight on my new times. wish me luck!

Good deal man, good luck on the new #'s! What is the altitude you are at? IIRC I remember it was in the clouds.

Our track is at 5800 ft. and its hot today 90-95 and muggy. , I also put a T from my wipers and a spray bar on my intercooler, man it soaks that thing! I'll be happy with mid 13's but hopefully better. I'll let everyne know how it goes.

The altitude and heat suck, but you've got a really sweet setup...bet you won't be disappointed. Good luck!
