Matter of fact, before it went into the shop for the tranny swap, it weighed 4430 with me in it. I would think it's a little heavier now with everything that I've added. Maybe 4500 even or so? I'm getting ready to swap over to the Denali front end, which I would think has to be lighter than the chromed steel bumper. We'll see.
I hear ya there, I want to see this thing go 10s, the 150 shot should put you right in the mph you need to go 10s, now its gonna be whether you can spray it off the line or if your gonna have to ease off like you did on the 11.50 passes. On a off topic note: how do you like the 80e? im torn between another built 60e or just go big with the 4l80e.

So far I LOVE the 80-e. It's a great tranny, even with just a shift kit and converter. I don't know that I could go with much less that 4.10's with it, but it's not too bad even on the highway. 80 is still only about 3400-3500 on 27" tall 20's.

Oh, and I got about 14-16mpg on the highway on a trip back from Lake City last weekend. I don't think that's too bad considering the gear and all.

I wonder how much I'll pick up with the 150 shot vs the 100 shot. I'm hoping for 11.20's or .30's. I just thought that I might have a shot at being the 1st 2WD truck in the 10s, but I doubt I can find another six tenths before all these trucks come out.
So would it matter if I went 6.92-1/8mi last week end. NA!!

NOt sure what NBS stands for, LOL. But John Hennesseys twin turbo Ram SRT-10 went 10.92 with the manual trans and otherwise stock chassis. Slicks were the only other mods besides the twin turbo pkg.

The owner later put in an auto trans. It is rumored to have went into the 9's with the auto trans, but I don't think it's been proven.

By the summer there should be several nbs 2 wheel drive trucks in the 10s.
