Default Going to the track tonight for the first time. few ??

First off, truck is stock besides "cold air" intake and flowcrapper. 3.42 gears, one tire fire heavy 20's. I'm shooting for around 15.9, is that about right??

I plan on running the first time as is for a base run, then doing things such as headlight, tailgate, spare tire, subwoofers removal.

Since its an open diff, should i just skip the water box all together, or should i do a burnout?

i guess I'm just asking for a simple noob guideline at the track.

Burnouts wont do anything good for you on a street tire. I usually spin the tires alittle bit to get the crap off of them. If you can just drive around the waterbox then do that but some tracks you cant.

go around the water box and do a quick rolling burnout just to clean off the tires. stall it up a little bit and punch it on the third yellow. dont wait all the way to green. make sure you stage with the front tires lol
