Goal accomplished...

Well, I wasn't going to tell anyone, but I'm pretty excited about it...Got my truck finished up around 2:30a.m. Saturday morning, slept for a few hours then headed to the track to hang out with some buddies that were doing some index racing. Well they talked me into entering the 13.50 index. First qualifying pass was a 13.41 @ 101.69 with a 2.012 60'. Not too bad I guess for still not being tuned and only have a little over 100 miles. Next pass was a 13.44 @ 91 with a 1.978 60'(trying to index race) and then a 13.56 @ 97 with a 2.018 and I was out of eliminations

I wasn't going to run it on the bottle because it wasn't tune yet, but I talked myself into it.

I couldn't be happier! I can only imagine what it's going to do with the new converter, new slicks, new shocks, some tuning and more nitrous.
Once again, I'd like to thank Tyler(dirt track racer 81) for building me a badass motor and helping me get this thing back together. I don't think I could do it without him.

went from a 1.97 to a 1.68 60 foot with 8 degrees pulled and a 100 shot, sounds like you need a better stall for shur cause in must have flashed a 1000 rpm higher on the bottle. And how did you go from 101 to 114 on a 100 shot?

I was a .053 nitrous jet ~100 shot. My goal was 11.99
Yeah, like I've said 100 times, this converter is not what I need, but it's what I had at the time. It did amazingly well yesterday though. My shift light comes on at 6600rpm and it came on right before I crossed the traps. I think with the new converter I'll have to back down on the gears but we'll see.
And the cam really likes nitrous. I told Pat G I didn't care what it ran like on motor, I wanted the best cam he could give me to work with nitrous, and that he did.
