Default GMT900 Drag suspension

Other than Cal-tracs and removing the front sway bar, are there other things available? Does anyone make a front 90/10 set up? What about the factory aluminum lower control arm and are they available for 2wd? I'm really interested in the aluminum lowers but I'm having a hard time finding info on them.

Hi... I have a 06 GMC Sierra and have rancho 9000's and cal-tracs in the back. Called calvert racing and they don't have any 90/10's for a pickup. Called QA1 and they said to call back with the mountings and a closed measurement and he thought they would have some, for around $170 ea. Don't know about the control arms. I have lighten up my pickup to 3900. Still need to get the bumper off and get a fiberglass hood. Don't know if I can make a bumper cover work or not.

On my 05 I was running the Comp Engineering 3 way's on the front. 90/10 at the track and 70/30 on the street. I will look for the part # I bought. They were like 49.00 a piece.

The OP is asking about suspension on the GMT900 chassis, which uses a coil on shock design(looks like a strut). It's completely different than what the NBS/GMT800 trucks have. Not alot out there for a drag specific GMT900 front suspension yet.

When you say not alot, does that mean there's something?

To be honest, I've never looked hard to find anything. I've never seen anything posted, or advertised anywhere though. But that doesn't mean NOBODY has anything to offer.

Good luck with your search. If you find something, be sure to post it up for us.

My guess is that it would be pretty easy to just adapt a univeral qa-1 with a coil over spring on it. Getting the length right and then figure what mounts to get.
