Default first times

got 4 or 5 runs in. best was a 14.01 at 98.5 mph with a crappy 2.35 60 ft. on drag radials and the 22's up front. truck ran great but i think my converter is just too tight. pleased with the mph as it tells me i should be easily into the 13's with a half way decent 60 ft. time. i should add that even with the dr's and 4.56's i still spin at the top of first which isnt helping matters. track prep wasnt the greatest i felt.

not terrible for this heavy *** truck with only bolt ons i guess.

Hey! Your truck sounds really good. Shed those big fronts add a converter and you'd be well in the 13's. Thanks for guiding me home, lol.

those are some great times to start with!
when you say the track prep wasn't the greatest, were you spinning any with the drag radials?

I like them for the most part. I couldnt hook for **** yesterday even with dr's....although a lot of guys were having traction issues. my best 60 was like 2.16 i think. i need to work on my converter/locker issues and they'll be a lot better. changing a few things up with the motor anyways so that will all be part of the final equation.

rpm's at 70 are 2300 i think. i know at 75 im at 2550 exactly.
