Tomorrow I plan on going to the drag strip (1/8 mile) to get some times with my current setup. This will be my first time down the strip ever. Just wanting some advice and tips so I can make it as safe and fun as possible.

Mods are in my sig. 2wd with 255/70r16 firestone A/T I plan on running normal tire pressure and see what the track does. If it spins, should i lower it to 30psi to start?

Hoping for a low 9 second time for my first time out.

 

Stage the two top stage bulbs and when last yellow bulb come on....... go!!!! You can spin the tires over to clean them up before staging and stage the first top bulb then last for the next guy to stage then you stage then he will stage and be ready the tree will being after all top staging bulbs are on.
