I still say find some 26" tires and ride haha.. that thing would get it and be just about out of RPM in third when you trapped!

Them heavy tires and no Torque is goin to be rough to get past. But atleast you beat whoever was in the right lane!

that happened to be a boosted accord lol but i may give it a shot if i can find some stickies, but with that much less roatational mass and such a aggressive gear idk how itd do lol. im hopin this weekend i can knock a few tenths off, then see what she does after either my retune or if i go to the live tune. as long as i can click off a 13.9 on these heavy son bitchez ill be happy. all i can do is see where this year takes it. definitley looks like ill be giving srd a call soon and getting some assasin bars set up on this thing

I think its excellent for the small cubes with big tires! You beat him at the tree too! I totally agree on the 6.0 more hp per $$. But you can sure have some fun with the 4.8 just for the hell of it.

A tune probably isn't going to gain you much. 100 hp is aproximatly 1 second and a tune that pulls all the TM is what gains you the most. The extra 30 ish hp you make is not a big differance for the gains seen from stock to a custom tune. So if you gain 15 hp and .1-.2 from a spot on tune vs. what you have now you should be doing good.

As far as .1 in the 60', it seems consistant to be worth atleast .2 at the big end.

As for swaping your mods to a 6.0 everything is interchangable but typicaly the cam is going to be too small so you will need to sell and buy a differant one. Stall will get higher buy 100-300 rpm typicaly because of the extra torque so with yours so high it should work but might need tightened up.

If you can muster a 14.5 with the current set up I would be impressed. That would include a fresh tune. If you can run a 13.9 without nitrous I would be very impressed. I certainly can be wrong and that is what this game is about, proving people wrong or just acomplishing something others havn't.

With your 4.88 a small tire might hurt you as much as it helps. The high stall makes traction hard so effectivly more gearing will only make traction that much harder. Plus you might be in 3rd gear at half track. It is something you have to experament with.

It just ocured to me that you said the track was cold, that is bad for traction but good for hp. Just something to keep in mind DA can gain and loose you a few tenths.

Horfully this weekend traction is better and you can get some clean runs.

well if i can get that 60 ft down it seems like that goal will be made, my buddy thats got one nasty tbss feels that i can get it into the 13s no problem and feels even with my **** tune(hes the one who data logged it) if i can get it to hook i should net some 13 second e.t's, coming from someone whos running 11.6 in his truck and been in racing a long time id love to believe it but until summer when the tracks prepped and warm i cant really see better than a 14.5. but well see what happens this weekend weather permitting! and no offense custom but i will not spray this thing, i am determined to do this on all motor. its kind of upsetting how lifted trucks are always looked down on and accused of being slow, im trying to change that perspective. but i do also want to experiment with tire size/radial so well see what comes into play, but if i can run this weekend i will fersure keep everyone updated
