What does the full slip look like? You said your 60' was 2.xx?

I would think anything less then 20 is going to start working against you. As far as your tires being out of balance!?!? The tires are going to walk around with the big sidewall that has nothing to do with balance. Also if the axle is doing any wrapping it will also make the wheels and tires walk around.

my 60's are embarassing..
Leaving in vacuum on the all terrains, i cant ask for more. Slicks it went in the mid 1.9s still leaving in vacuum but i only got one pass in and didnt wanna push it hard and spin.

It seems legit but the slip will confirm any chance of fibbing. I feel the 14.9 is a legit time but I was curious how the rest of the slip broke down. You posted the full slip in text so that shows how the truck was performing down the line. I am always curious to see how 4.8s run.

Main reason is that it is my solid belief that unless you are boosting a 4.8 you are waisting your time. You truck only solidifies this. Cam, stall, and gear to match taller tires and running 15s and high 14s. A 5.3 or especialy a 6.0 with the same mods and you would be easily in the high 13s or a stock swap would be running the same times or better then current with less money invested in the swap.

nonnies still some great times reguardless of the 60"s n custom the reason i keep pushing the 4.8 is because everyone and their moms doubt these things, i know itd be easier to go 5.3 or 6.0 but i dont like doing the same repetative ****. i always strive to be different, i know itll take more money but when im determined i dont give. ive already got multiple things planned for this turd and were gonna see what she does the whole way there. im sure once this tuning issue is worked out theryrll be some better times to come as well as a track thats a **** hair under 20 degrees. and im sure tire size/weight would be a big roll too. but as soon as i can figure out/remember how to post slips ill gladly put them up

Easiest way is to take a pick with your phone upload it and be done.

As for being differant i am tottaly with you! I love being differant. The thing is you will never impress anyone with the 4.8 especialy in a lifted truck. It is that simple. Hardcore near max effort 4.8 runs 11s and few run 12s with a 4.8. You can use nitrous but 250 and you are still only running 13 flat and maybe 12.8 on a very good day. Then you have nothing else you can do. You can't go faster, atleast without putting such a large cam you can't drive it on the street. Still not making much more power.

I agree about being differant but you are going to spend a lot of time and money and still loose to everything on the street and at the track.

well im glad someone else is on the same page as me, i hate repetative lol. and thats what i did but for some reason i cant get it to upload, im gonna keep trying. and not even tryin to bs but everyone that was with me at the track even says my truck is a lot more brutal on the street. if what my buddy says is true about tenths being dropped at the 60" i shouldnt be far off, im not gonna quit until im happily in the 13s and it looks like i may be hitting the track this weekend to see what i can get out of her. heads will be on their way once ive got the coin, yella terra 1.8 rockers mabey asp ud's my tbss manifold and a live dyno tune from brandon at fms. im pretty sure 13s isnt that far out of reach. once i hit em on the 35s then ill be seeing what she does on a radial...and praying that little 10 bolt stays toether

Why does the slip make such a big deal to ya? ^^^ it would be different if he said '' hey guys I went 13.2'' He is not bs'n I don't think. I think that you need to put a smaller set of tires would have got you much better time. Keep it up and push that 4.8. Yes gona cost money but have at it. Once you get tired of it swap all your **** out and off the 4.8 to a 6.0
