2 runs really killed you options to better your time playing with your launch and what not.

Yup. It was so much easier to launch and consistently hook with a stock 4.8L.

Oh, I also have the manual T-case (which won't shift to 2wd under power), so that's costing me a couple MPH as well. I've definitely got some testing to do after I get it running right, I just hope I can get more than 2 runs in next time.
Ah didnt realize you had the manual tcase. I bet with a set of slicks, and your exhaust/tune lined out you could drop well over a second and be close to 100mph.

Either way Im sure its a lot more fun on the street

I hope you're right.

I ordered a 3" dump pipe, and a 3" Borla XR1 today, now I just need to find someone with a stock catback that they don't want, and I can break out the welder.

And yes, it's a ton of fun on the street.

It's exactly what I wanted, a mild stall. Not much looser than the stock stall under normal driving, but give it some throttle, and it jumps right up to 2900.

If it only stalls to 2900 behind your 6.0 I dont think Ill see much out of it behind a stock 5.3.

It would still stall near 3000. Especialy with as heavy as your truck is.

Got some stuff today that should help for next time.

And the knock sensors and harness have been replaced, which seems to have made a pretty big difference.

Dan, we need some sound clips!
Throw up a sound clip if possible in exhaust forum. Idle & Revs.

Stock catback, huh? Get my number from Billy.
