Went to the track finally, 5.3 w/ the usual bolt ons, 215/215 cam, tbss intake. Stock converter, and on mail order tune

slip break down
60'- 2.043
1/8-8.69@82.69
1/4- 13.51@102.17

Dont think its half bad considering no converter, and being the first time at the track in awhile. With a little gain in the tune area, lower temp, and a few adjustments i think i can get a couple more tenths.
If a converter really does knock off .5sec, would be a nice simple n/a 12sec setup imo..

Not bad times at all considering the mods.. Get that tune and 60ft nailed down with a new vert, you def have a 12 sec in the bag..

Thats damn good considering most all cam and bolt on trucks around here with a converter can barely break into the 13s

Truck is suprisingly fast for the simple mods.

Converter should get you close to 12 but I wouldn't count on it. They have dropped more then .5 in many cases but don't want to take loan on that info.

What tires do you have on the spare wheels up front?

Great times! I love the trap speed. I'm hoping to break 100 MPH with my cam/intake going in this weekend.

damn those are really good times with a stock converter, in fact I think that is close to the lowest 60' on a stock converter. what gears do you have? and yes a converter will get you in the 12's...

3.73 gears + 26" drag radial which= 4.30ratio iirc. I was also pleased with the overall 1/8mile results.
Front runners- 17" colorado spares+ 28" m&h tires
Rears- 17x9 renegade 6's with 275/40 toyo DR
The wheels are plasti-diped btw

Dam those are great times, what are you shifting at?

3600 stall will definitely put that thing in the 12's with low 1.6 60's, I'm guessing that little cam has alot of torque.

Not bad! Get a converter, some good DA, and a little fine tuning and you'll be easy mid 12's. Is that my Isky 215 on the 111? +2 insted of the +4 like I ordered it with? lol
