Default Finally got 11's

I made it to the track tonight with the new turbo and finally ran 11's. I went on Saturday and it was 90 degrees out so the best I could pull was a 12.4 on a **** tune. I went tonight and with cool air, a better tune and a fixed boost leak I pulled off an 11.81@112. I made three passes wich went like this.

11.90@111 Dead rich, 18 degrees of timing and 11.5psi
11.86@111 Good AFR, 18 degrees of timing and 11.5psi
11.81@112 Good AFR, 20 degrees of timing and 11.5psi

I will post up the slips and some videos in the next couple of days. I can't believe the 60e is still holding but I had my fingers crossed.

Very nice times man, and I wish I had a L3 trans to be amazed at that it's still holding together, I'm knocking on wood for my stock 60E lol!

Can't wait for the vids.

Only the hottest new dance move!

Nahh, I believe it's a trans brake of sorts from what I gather on a quick trip to google.

Synergy Motorsports sells a 2-step. They aren't sponsors here so i cant tell you they are located in Fremont Ca.

congrats on breaking into the 11's!

I'm assuming he has a transbrake since he's buying a 2 step. A 2 step module gives you 2 rev limiters 1 for staging and 2 for top end rev limiter. So once he pre-stages he can start spooling the turbo, then bump into the stage beams, grab the tranny brake button and go to the floor and the 2 step will go to the low rev limiter setting. When the light drops, then he releases the tranny brake button and is already on the floor and the 2 step module switches to the high rev side of the box. Had same setup on my 84 mustang. Hope that wasn't too confusing. LOL.
