Default Finally

I finally got me some wheels to mount my 28-11.50-15 et streets on. I will be going to a 1/4 mile track next friday. Any predictions on if I can 60' better in 2hi? I ran a best of 1.88 on motor in 4hi. Also would it help to clamp the helper springs? I have read about it but haven't seen many people post differences on them.

are you grinding your brake calibers down to fit those 15" wheels?

and what type of wheels are they. lighter or heavier might make a lil difference. fifteens will help with topend (smaller wheel is lighter). et street on 15's will definately give some good wrinkle wall tho. i had the some on my gto and my chevelle. i dropped from a 1.9 to a 1.75 on the gto and 1.8 to 1.6 on my chevelle by using a smaller wheel with bigger sidewalls for some more wrinkle

Yes I am grinding the calipers down. The wheels are some old four wheel drive wheels. Not real heavy but not bogarts. I can run the 26-11.50-15 et streets or some 315/60/15 et street radials.
