Talking Few of us visited the 1/8 track today!

Went to the local 1/8 mile track with a few guys and since the last track day a weeks days ago I was givin flak for not running the rental I decided to go ahead and run it today!!

I did two pretty big burnouts because that's the only thing a stock rental is good for at the track so I had a little fun in the water box on the stock tires . I was able to get the second burnout on my camera and I think Reynaldo got the first big burnout on his camera. I won the best burnout of the night!!

I made two runs with the best of...

60' 2.242
330 6.450
1/8 9.934
mph 71.39

Not bad for a stock rental Chevy Colorado CCSB with the 3.7L I5.

Other than my BS'ing around I know Lee, Matt and Art all got personal bests in one form or another but I'll let them post up their results!!

I didn't think of it until I got to the track and it was too late but I wanted to take out all the seats for a little weight saving so I can break into the 9's. But apparently it wasn't necessary cuz it broke into the 9's anyways!!

Well I improved a lot last night. A few weeks ago at the track I was cutting 2.3. 60 ft with a 9.6 1/8 mile and last night I ran a 9.01 with a 1.9 60ft @78.77mph
