very high 14's and 10mpg, at best

It takes alot to get 5800lbs rolling.

 

14.7 here 4x4 2002 z71 just a kb 5 lbs boost no other mods on a 5.3 now 6.0 just dropped in with mods cant wait to run in the spring dont forget to pin the crank on a FI. I know a guy who hit a 14.2 with 3.23 gears their at EIRT in the summer. I don't know if he has run better times, but I don't see why he can't get into the 13's with better gears and cold weather. oh, N/A

 

What was his setup. I'm very skeptical.

 

GMracer ran like 13.7 N/A. he had a 6.0 LQ4, and full bolt ons (tune, headers, etc). stock stall and cam.

EDIT: wait, i'm dumb and didn't realize you were asking for Tahoes.

 

Sorry, his is not 4x4, but I still think it's a pretty good time. That mo fo looks like a 4x4. His mods are 212/218 .56x/56x at 115LSA, LTH, CAI, Tuning, and Converter with the 3.23s.
