i have a fully built goerend transmission. it has held up pretty good so far. i went to the track and ran about 6 or 7 7.0@100 in the 1/8 and drove it home without a problem.

 

this thread makes me sad I have a slow truck........ fastest i have been to date is 11.93@114 on radials...... but the only thing I removed from the truck was the spare tire! its street trim 100% down to the factory bose and nav, and over 100 lbs of stereo under the back seat Maybe I don't feel so bad, its basically a stock lowered truck with a turbo and a 4l80!

 

So the real question is who is going to push the envelope and run low 10's. If I wasn't broke I would give it a shot. Stock48 is trying to coach me but I have a feeling that I will be too late. Lol

 

the only thing im pushing is my truck in and out of the shop every day!!!

 

there are a few diesel nbs ecsb in the low 9's

 

I think there is a guy on here with a red 98 model that went 10.5 with a 6.0 and a big shot, but I cant remeber his name.

some of the diesels are crazy fast. im hoping to be in the low 10s in a few months and the truck is still my daily driver.

 

Yeah thats him, I thought I remeberd him going 10.5 with that truck but dont hold me to it, maybe someone could chime in and varify.
