There might be some quick ones on here, but nothing comes to mind. I think a quick 4.8 N/A would be pretty badass, should be able to rev it pretty high. And agreed on the mpg, that's why I stayed 5.3.

 

I have got to imagine high 12s have to be the best a 4.8 is going to run N/A so you aren't far off.

 

With the right cam and stall sum 411s gears p&p 243s and with my nnbs intake
i think i can manage mid 12s
But with a detroit posi locker and better gears too

 

Guess we can find out this spring when I get mine to the track after this round of parts.

Comp 224r cam,springs,rods,oil pump,pacesetter longtubes,off road Y,spintech dumped on the side,3.73 gears,truetrac, ls-1 fan swap,NX wet kit with a 100 shot,TB SS intake,circle D 4000 stall.Gonna be on 28 Mickeys this time round,oh and a Wheatley tune.

 

Nice set of mods....lets see how she does....im going another route with a special roadkill custom cam for my 4.8 and a 4k stall from yank hopefully...then a posi with 410 gears and 243 heads
then a sunroof jaa

 

Roadkill spec'd me a great cam for a 383 set up I was going to do but I went a different route and good luck to u be a badass ride for sure

 

Yup rk knoes his ****...he was the one who told me wut my 4.8 can do if i listen to his advice
He sd i can run mid 12s allday with his set up

 

I bought some heads from a member on here that went 11.8 on his 4.8 but he was spraying like a 100 shot. And I think he went 13.1 or so n/a

 

Nice times........i plan on sprayin later too ....so i can get to see the 11sec club
