Default dyno queen at the track again.

Well, I am not bogging off the line anymore, but I am spinning tire at the line with the two step. I am still getting 2.2 60ft's. I am running 12.7 at 112mph. I am peaking 14psi and during the run its 12psi. Not bad. I think when I get my tires to hook I should get a low 12 maybe high 11. And then I will turn up the boost to 20psi. I just found out that I have to get more tunning done. I read that the computer can only read 512g/s (that is about 600 hp) for the MAF, after 600hp it cant read the air flow. So I have to go with a SD tune or I have to let my tuner trick my ECM to read the MAS. I think I will go SD 3 bar. That is why I am not runing high boost, I dont want to run over 600hp untill I get it retuned. I ran the same 60ft with et streets and my 20's. I ran my 20's first, and then I switched to my et streets. The wife would not let me get 15inch wheels and tires at the same time, so I settled for the et streets. I think I am not heating them up enough, they are not sticking. I ran them at 18 psi, I was all over the track. It was ugly. first gear sucks for me, after that I start pulling hard on the cars that leave me. Its getting better.

Oh, I am building 5 psi (3900rpm) at the line with the two step. I couldn't build past 0 psi before wraping my pipes. Its going to take time but its getting there.

Ditch the et streets and get a set of slicks. You will have no traction issues at all. Been there done that. Once you hook with the slicks you will be in the 11s easy.

What rear ratio are you running? With an auto and the stall you have you should have no trouble building boost in 1 and 2.

you can run over 600fwhp but there is a little guess work to it. it all depends on when you max out the maf. if you max it at 3000rpm then you are guesing on your fueling for most of the run and that is a bad thing but if you dont max the maf till 5000rpm then it is not a big deal to guess a little up top.

good et out of that sts set up!!

I am maxing it out at 4500rpm. Should I turn up the boost to 20 psi and just add fuel with the meth? I have not tryed a full throttle run with 20 psi since the last time I dyno at 629@4500rpm and went lean after that. Maybe I will try again. I do have video of it, I will try to find the cable to hook it up on the computer. I think you are right quicksilverado I think I will need slicks, I dont know how I will get the wife to go along with it. thanks for the info guys
