Default Drops vs 1/4 mile time

Does dropping youre truck make youre track times any better. I think im gonna drop the front 2'' belltech springs and get 4'' drop Hotchkis leafs and level it with the shackles Hopeing maybe it will help at the track.

B,
I was told by someone on here that my Hotchkis won't improve my times. Said that due to their stiffness, they don't improve transfer. I have yet to take to track after the drop & Corsa to verify. I'll try to find his PM & send to u. My thinkin was it's lower to the ground, so it has less movement for travel in the 1st place. Maybe my low ride will help out w/ gas mileage by creatin less drag. However, u have Caltracs to help out w/ traction. I'll prolly put some Caltracs on too.

It will help gas mileage but don't know about track times, it could. My ground force kit transfered weight easy, the rear leafs were soft. Only one way to find out, run it.

I might just take out the helper spring to level it out and save some bucks. Im really not worried about mileage the truck only gets around 2 to 3k miles a year

SLAM that bitch Bryan!

Seriously though, my drop did not hurt or help my ET's at all. I'm lowered approx 4" front and 4" rear.

My drop has proven to drop times by .2 over the 1/4mile. It is 2" belltch coil springs in the front and 4" leafsin the back.
