Default Drag Wheel/tire to fit over disk brakes.

I have an 04 Silverado with disk brakes that I plan on lowering to a 4/6 drop. I am also currently putting together a s475 turbo setup for it and plan on making 600-700 rwhp. Is there and inexpensive street/strip wheel and tire combo that will fit over my disk brakes?

Who makes one tall enough? I've looked around and it seems all the 17" DR's are around 26" tall.

M&H 390 is the only choice at 29.5"

I put their 275 drag radials on the 17" wheels (supposedly 28" tall) and they looked stupid IMO. Installed height was around 27". Even my current 315 MT drag radials look borderline small on a truck (in terms of height) but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, I looked at those. I don't think they'll fit though with the 4/6 drop I'm doing...Ugh.

Most likely they will not fit. I am tucking the MT 315/60/15s with a flip kit but there's basically no clearance. Even though M&Hs run small, the 390 is atleast the same width or wider than the MT.

Most likely I will run 16's with M&H 275/55/16 tires. Just found a pic of a truck with those and it looks ok. Just have to see if I can fit 16's over my front spindles.

I have some mickeys in 305/45/18 it's the street radial 2. It's almost a 29.

Does anyone make a off the shelf 17" wheel that is wider than 10" for those M&H 390 tires that won't have them sticking way out the wheel wells. I've looked on the internet but haven't found anything. It seems like every wheel I find only has 4-5" backspacing.

I know you can mount them on some racestars but at only 9.5 inches wide I'm sure it would be less than ideal. M&H recommends a 12" wide wheel.
