Default drag tips

A guy I work with bet me 10 gallons of gas and lunch that I wouldn't run under a 14.50 right now I'm running a ecsb 5.3 with 10# and meth 2800 stall 3.73 gears ill pry run the stock 265s for tires or 33 mud tires its a 4x4 too any tips
Like use 4 wheel drive or auto 4 or just two wheel. Any ideas on what ill run. I'm shooting for 110 mph in the 1/4 so what ever that gets me hopefully 12s

Something is wrong if you wouldn't go faster then a 14.5 no matter how bad you spin. I'm not sure how the 4wd stuff works so cant help you there but depending on how the track is I'd think you should trap mid to upper 100s. Turbo or supercharged?

hit the 4x4 button and only give it 3/4 throttle all the way down the track to clip off a 13.90. then bet him another 10 gallons and lunch that you can make 12's.

i think most the 4x4 guys launch in 4 then hit the button before the 1-2 so that second gear and on is 2 wheel drive.

not 100% on that though....

also what TXsilvy said^^^^

Turbocharged. So use solid 4 wheel and not auto 4

I did this without boost, haven't tried it with boost yet. Will give it a go when at the track in May.

I would strongly advise not using auto 4 wheel. Launch in 4x4 high and either say in all the way down or go back to 2wd after the 1-2 shift.

Yes, 4hi only and shift as soon after the 1-2 as you can back to 2wd....if you can. Some people report it won't disengage and some like myself never had a problem going back into 2wd.

It won't hurt it going from 4 to 2 under a load I take it go with the stock tires
