Default Drag Strip Results 8/8/08

well last night a few of my friends and i (including 04RST) went to Englishtown Raceway Park for some test and tune passes. went although there were threats of rain turned out to be a good time especially since no one broke.

R/T 60' 1/4 mph
1st run .824 2.090 14.117 91.65

2nd run .559 2.095 14.462 89.78

3rd run .327 2.115 14.83 89.71

2005 GMC Sierra z71 package 5.3L plow package on SSS 20" rims
LTs, mail order tune, air intake, 75 wet shot
weight 5260 lbs
time for the excuses.....
first run i let off up top so i think i could have gotten a 14.00 at least

my bottle heater is not set up so i think i was losing bottle pressure which resulted in what could have been better times and why i got the same mph as when i took the truck to the track stock

last time i took the truck to the track was about 4 years ago stock with about 1000 miles on it and stock 17s

plan to go again after i get the bottle heater and other stuff installed and i plan to go next time with my stock 17s instead of the heavy *** 20s

Englishtown... like "Sunday, Sunday, Sunday"? Native NY'er here in Texas...

you're running stock engine and bottle only? And what are the other mods that are going in?
