Does This Seem Right???????????????

I finally went and ran my 03 ecsb last night at a local 1/4 mile track. My results were not what i expected! I had brought my truck before i did my mods last winter and i ran a best time of 15.094 with a cold air intake and a magnaflow muffler. Well now i have went ahead and installed some lt's, ory, ls1 fans, billet servo, and i got a nelson tune. Unfortunately my best time last night was a 14.677
. I do not think that is too impresive for the mods i have done. The wheather was not as good as it was when i ran it before the mods, but the wheather was still fairly good last night. Also my 60' times did not pick up hardly at all! Does this seem normal or not. I did not spin before at the track and i do not spin now so traction is not an issue. These are my numbers before and after my mods.
Before mods: After mods:
60'= 2.254 60'=2.247
330= 6.360 330=6.262
1/8=9.763 1/8=9.528
1/4=15.094 1/4=14.677
MPH=91.67 MPH=94.64
I do not understand this and any comment would be greatly appreciated!!!

so basically your major mods since the 15.0 were a couple bolt ons and completed the exhaust? The tune is probably what helped the most... what were you expecting... 4 tenths arent bad considering you dont have a cam and its a ecsb truck.
Was the weather that much diff. between these two times?
if you got the 60' down to a 2.0 you'll probably see 14.2's all day... but to do that you would need to drop a bit of weight, hook up, and maybe have a 2600 torque converter

I know how it works. I have been around drag racing for a long time! I'm just wondering why all i pick up was 4 tenth off what i did. because everyone is talking in the forum that they get almost that from just a nelson tune! Also i do not understand why my 60' times did not pick up?

How Was Your Hole Shot?? Did You Spin Off The Line?? Did You Have Anyone Spectating With You That Can Tell??
You Could Have Lost Some Backpressure With The Ory Which Will Drop Your Tq A Bit... And That Will Definitely Affect Your Launch, And Your Entire Run

My hole shot was the same as before. I stall it as high as my stock converter will let me and nail when its time to go, and i do not spin. It hooks up at the track. Also beore my mods i could not spin my tires on the street. Now i can spin them pretty damn good! So thats telling me that i should have more bottom end, but the times do not show me that???

what are your shift points...
Look in my sig, i ran a 14.8 with not much done...
from 5900 to 6000 shift points from 1-2 and 2-3 i gained a consistant .08 seconds.
I started having problems spinnin out of the hole so i couldnt check 6100 or 6200 Rpm Shifts..
