Ideally that is correct, cause more that is where the power starts dropping off, but to maximize 1/8th times i like to carry that shift out longer, depending on tire size and other stuff, it eliminates the 2-3 shift and the 3rd bog, unless your scott with the insane shift extensions....

Went 13.5@102 with a rich 75 jet 42/24.
13.2@102 with a really rich 100 shot, I mean black smoke rich lol.
Race weight was 3379 with me in it and a half tank of fuel.
With tuning a converter and cal tracs it would have been a 12 second truck. It ran within one tenth every pass.
I have went 10.6@126 in the 96 with 235-60r15's and cal tracs. The trucks are easy to get down the track. That one was lighter at 3250 with me in it.
So yes I believe Zippy is right. I will have a hard time proving that now though, little past the 4.3l stage.

52/33 and that was rich too, but I had a 255 walbro in the tank so my pressure was just north of 60psi. This was with a NX kit. NX calls for a 41/22 for 75 and a 52/31 for 100.
