A track 2 hours away has been doing some "street races" where you start on the shutdown area and race towards the tree. Couple of races against some 5.7x mustangs...

First won I lost...went on his go (which was dumb) and barely lost by a fender. Buggered the launch since my finger came off the 2step and truck launched at something over 30psi and 4500rpm, spun all through first.

Good time overall....these guys take this pretty serious and theres all sorts of butt hurt on facebook. Guys think they are invincible that their trailered 2500lb mustangs on sprays and slicks beat a 5000lb truck that drove down there 2 hours by a fender.

Thats how the portray themselves. About 5 or 6 foxbodys with spray in their little group. Have group tshirts and everything

 

alot of car groups like that, last place i lived had a club of all new camaros, they thought they were the **** but would never race anyone just talk about how fast they were
