you cant say the ls1 is such a better engine than the hemi either...it just has better tuning capibilities. james got him a m6 trans-am that you havent gotten to see yet. i took him 2x from a 60 roll

edit: oh your thinkin stock motor...nobody really stays that stock with these motors except for me around here. i did 13.8 with the 5.3 in a ecsb...not sure what a scsb could do.
