Well, clutch wouldn't hold new power so back apart again...fricken torture. I bought a Monster Twin and now sending my tranny\diff to RPM for a tune up. They have been in for 6-7 years. I found some metal in the diff fluid.

Well...6 months of BS and I finally found the problem with my Trans. My servo broke the clip and cracked the second gear servo piston. With that, it ate up my bands and my Z-pac and scarred up the case pretty bad. Fast forward to this weekend and I just have to button up the exhaust and x-member and back on the road. I sure hope this is the fix.

Also found my TC was coming loose again with red loc-tight. I cleaned all threads and loaded it up again with red and torqued to 50 lbs. I guess I will check before every track run. I just don't get the loose TC. My motor is too smooth to be an out of balance problem !!

It is too hot here for the track (for me). I guess I will just get some break in miles and wait on fall. In the mean time, I will retune after...adding injectors, and getting this thing off of 110 race gas and on E-85. A trailer Queen is not my bag !!! I have a 44 Bosch so I should be good to go.

10's are slow now..Pitt stuck at 11.14

Glad to hear its coming together!! 10's may be considered slow now compared to the fastest truck list but that is still dang fast for a street truck IMO. Would beat 95% of production vehicles anyway. Looking forward to your results later on this year!!

Your still running the 60e right? What are your reasons for sticking with it as opposed to an 80e? Just curious. You see so many 80e swaps it's rare to see anyone keeping the 60e that's making decent power......

A well built 60e can withstand that power in a light reg cab and goes faster than an 80e all things being equal.

Hey, I have the same black step side silvy like yours. I was wondering what size tires you run in street trim and how much lower you are.
Thanks.
