I was going to go N/A stroker build after seeing your 402 results but I drank the kool aid and i am going turbo... I'm tuning in to see what the 408 does. Nice job! I'd be happy if I run as good as your 402 N/A did!! Go get that 10.xx slip already (if you haven't already)... Thread is a little old.

 

Haven't got back on the truck because of rebuilding my car. Truck motor is running great but the tranny is messing up. I hope to get back on the truck this weekend.

I put a 418 in the car and will be heading to the dyno tomorrow night.
This is not fun !!

 

Hey Bob, can't wait to see the numbers the vet puts down. Going to be crazy fast. With all the work, fustration , sweat and agony you've put into not 1 , but 2 vehicles. You deserve for both to be way out there FAST. Will be look'n to see results.

Well I bought a F1X pro charger, so it will be a lot different that's for sure. Figured I'd wait till we got started doing the tubed frame before I started a build thread. Can't get any more engine parts till end of year. Am maxed out and cause of the surgery I haven't worked since dec. 15th. Hopefully will get back to work end of march. The knee is doing better. thanks. Right now the pickup is up on jack stands with the motor and trans out. Don't know why pics don't work .
