That's a bit harsh..
.................................................. ............................................... but yes I am going to re-cam. Also going FI with a Radix. Also swaping out the shorties with Dynatechs. Any suggestions on cam? I am looking at LPE GT-2-3 207/220 .571/.578 w 1.7 rocker 118.5 CL
and a comp grind xer cam 220/224 580/581 115 lsa
Which one? Any suggestions?
Think my times might improve with these mods?

alot of aftermarket cams especially aggressive NA cams like that one hate back pressure. I bet you could drop half a second in the 1/4 with the right exhaust, people underestimate how important the exhaust side is.
I would finish your setup before you decide to give up on it.

I bet your right. The one mod difference between mine and the other guys that are making low 14's is the exhaust. I have shorties-I'm swapping them out for Dynatechs and true duals with x-pipe.
I aint give up yet! (like my english?) Hell, I beat a damn 5.0L Mustang-Twice!! and kept a 6.6L TransAm right by my side the whole way down the track!!

Im not sure what to say about your times. The only thing I can think of is that the cam may be too large and not able to produce enough torque at the lower rpm range. You are trapping a speed that should be good for mid 14's, so the power is there. I think if the truck was lighter, the cam may work out a bit better because you would be able to produce better 60's.
I think the gt2-3 cam is an awesome compliment to the radix. For sure there are bigger cams out there, and the gt2-3 is small, but it is a proven performer. I think that cam with tuning is good for 40rwhp. I need to get strapped onto a dyno. Hopefully before we go to the track.
Im going to call him now.
