Default Best way to get into the 14's

I have just recently purchased a regular cab 5.3 Silverado. What is the cheapest and most efficient way of getting my truck into the 11's? Also, it's still under warranty, so I don't want to void that. Thanks!

First of all, I saw your cardomain site and you have a badass truck. The HD hood and new grille looks sweet on a regular cab truck! Anyways, 11's is certainly possible but you will void your warranty. No way around it, LOL. I would start by swapping out those 3.23 gears with some 3.73's or 4.11's, get a 2800 stall, custom tune (Wait4Me, etc.), nitrous (100 shot), cam, full length headers (Pacsesetter's), no cats, beefier tranny (like 4L80E). After all this, I still don't think you will be 11's capable. There are plenty of people on this board who could help you out alot more than I can...people like parish8...

Whoa, I didn't see "14's" in the title, only saw "11's" in the post. Yeah, BIG difference. Your truck is probably capable of 14's right now...with good weather and traction.

14's will come with boltons and tune
11's will come with a big engine, built tranny, tuning, and a power adder

A gutter sucker would do the trick. You would have to upgrade the tranny and do a few other things. Better get 2 side jobs.

I really don't want to mess with forced-induction or nitrous on this ride.. just want something that'll eat a mustang GT's and possibly a light modded LT1 camaro on the strip while still getting decent gas miealge and not voiding the warranty... I said 14's as a base, but of course I would love 13's if possible... but that would (from what I understand) require a cam and more serious mods.
How much do you think a good CAI, true duals with headers (have to keep cats for emissions) and a shift kit get me? Will that void warranty? Does anyone know somewhere I can look to see what mods do void the warranty? Thanks!

Best bang for the buck is a stall, tune and long tubes.
