Caltracks stock springs Rancho shocks 1.37 60' M/T Street Radial 18 psi

 

stock 1.74 60' with a 2500 stall. 299 hp

 

I would be very happy if I could run 1.74 or lower. I have caltracs mt drag radios and hotchkis lowering spring (4 in) stock shocks. To the track in two weeks!

 

what gears you running with the t-56? you should beable to get a 15? 60' with that setup. good luck.

 

I am hopeing for traction. I have 3.73's, I have not put the DR's on yet.

 

I Think I May Have Traction. I Installed The Caltracs This Weekend And They Feal Really Good. If I Poped The Clutch At 2000 Rpm Before Caltracs, I Would Be Bucking And Going Sideways For A While. I Just Tryed The Same Thing And My Tires Just Churped And I Took Off. I Had My 20's On, The Truck Was Running Like Crap Thow. I Am Impressed With The Caltracs They Really Worked For Me. I Also Cut A Rubber Heater Hose And Put It Around The Top Bolt That Rest On The Springs, And I Have No Squeeking At All. I Drive With Them Preloaded And They Feal Good. I Just Have To Find This Boost Leak, And Then Take It To The Track. The Leak Is Driving Me Crazy, I Cant Find It.

 

stock suspension, 1.75 60' on m/t et streets 26x11.5x16's

 

m/t drags with 5.3 1.64. I tighten the bolts on the shackles then back it up a little to let the rear move a little looser to help

 

1.75 on 275/55-16 M&H DR's. Caltracs w/ overload leaf removed, not yet dialed in.
