Default best 60' for 2wd with slicks? 4link or not to 4link?

the other best 60' thread got me thinking...

whats the best 60' you guys with caltracks and slicks are geting?

i am contemplating droping some weight and going 2wd. puting a strong rear end under the truck with smaller brakes and room for 15" rims. then running some tall and wide slicks. also moving some weight toward the rear of the truck like with a fuel cell and other weight reduction like lightweight seats.

can i get this truck to hook without doing a 4 link? i think there are classes where a 4 link will exclude me from running like some of the dragweek classes.

those guys with a 4link. how easy is it for you to hook? am i wasteing my time considering not going with a 4 link? any idea on how much weight you droped with the 4 link?

Stock leafs caltracs #3600+ 315x60x15 M/T Street Radial, track prep was non existant it went 1.32, 1.32, 1.33, 1.33, 1.33. On a well prepped track it will do a little better even

It will do better probably just carry the front tires a few more feet. On a good track it will carry them 30-35ft right now. I'm pretty confident it will go sub 1.3 once the motors fresh on a decent prepped track. I'm down 1/8 on torque right now so lets say for example it makes 650/8=81.25ftlb so I would be down over 80 ftlb on launch that should make a substantial difference.
