Turbo 5.3L? Sweet!
After Power Tour I will never underestimate the importance of A/C. Or were you talking about your turbo? Is you aftercooler that good?

Intercooler is good, same unit as Foose04 uses in his 10 sec 4.8. But in the midwest and south where we are going, air conditioning is a nice addition Larry Larson always tells me hes gonna swap me cars on the drive, as theres no ac or stereo in his Nova

I think you're a little late for that one. Parish did that years ago in his blue truck. It did ruffle some feathers then, and it was definitley paramount for more people realizing the potential of these trucks.

I think there'd be more interest if DW wasn't in a corner of the country every year. Most members here are in the South/Texas/West Coast....most. If it was more centralized or at least if it moved around a bit like the Power Tour does from year to year, you'd get more interest and different blood. More and smaller DW's would be cool too.

It's kind of a shame really, because trucks are a great platform for DW. Lots of room for spare parts, and they can take advantage of AWD/4WD which will help consistency in the index classes.

Drag Week is right in the middle of the USA this year. Topeka, Great Bend, Amarillo, Tulsa and back to Topeka

I know Larry has a radio in that unit! He drove it to our local track for the last MAKO race last year and as we were leaving he was BLARING Boston lol

He likes the 2-step at 65mph more than the radio though. Nothing like seeing him pull next to a car at speed and lay into the 2-step with his exhaust its like an old Gatling gun going off
