0-60 @ 8.8 seconds

1/4 mile in 16.8 seconds @ 84 mph
I wonder what the weight difference is between your truck and mine? With the stock 5.3/60E - my truck was around 4500lbs w/o driver. I managed a 15.6 @ just shy of 87 MPH, bone stock - save for the wheels & tires. (Which no doubt slowed it down. 18X9's with 275/60-18s vs. factory 16X7 with 255/70-16s)

16.8 @ 84 sounds slow for the trap speed. But it is C&D. I'll go out on a limb and guess somewhere in the 15.20-15.40 range as it sits now.

Finally was able to get to the track for a couple of passes. I wasn't worried about the reaction time, so pay that no attention.

My truck is a 2004 crew cab Z-71 4wd with the 5.3L, 4L60e, and 3.73 gears. Here are my modifications,

Black Bear Auto-Cal tune 91 octane +
Airaid M.I.T.
AEM dry panel filter (oem/factory type)
Magnaflow 3" SI/SO, 14" case muffler

I made both passes with a full tank of gas. Truck had no "weight saving" mods. Temperature at the time of the passes was 61*F.

First pass leaving off of idle,

Second pass I stalled it up to 1,200 then hit it,

Your trap is WAY low just not making any power. I understand its a CC but my stock RC ran 72 in the 1/8th. Probably contact BB or get it retuned if I were you. Somethings just not right.

My truck was factory rated at only 295 HP & 335 torque in stock form. I believe yours is rated a decent amount higher. Do you know what the factory rating is?

Out of the mods that been done to my truck, I consider the Black Bear Auto-Cal tune the major one. I wish I would have taken the Auto-Cal with me so that I could have run it with the stock tune against the 91+ octane sport tune to see what the difference would have been between the two in the 1/8 & in the 1/4.

I don't know why the trap speed was working for the 1/4 mile portion. I wish I knew what it was running.

That was my 2005 and it was the 295 hp. 2wd RC ran 9.84 @ 72 mph with 3.73s. It was bone stock down to the factory 17 wheels and tires. No mods ~ 45-4550 lbs. My 07 was RC 295 hp 4wd Z71 and 3.42s. It ran 10.39 @ 69.xx bone stock ~ 4800 lbs.

What do you think my truck should be running in the 1/8 or 1/4 with its current mods of Black Bear Auto-Cal tune 91 octane, Airaid M.I.T., AEM dry panel filter (oem/factory type), and Magnaflow 3" SI/SO 14" case muffler?

The only thing close to a baseline that I have is that 2004 Car & Driver article that showed a Silverado Z-71 identical to mine (same gears, engine, trans, and even tire size) that ran a 1/4 time of 16.8 sec.

How much of a difference should I expect from the BB Auto-Cal 91 octane tune?

Hey, I really appreciate that! Good to know someone on the forum that lives relatively close by.
