Default Affordable Custom Offset Wheels

Hey guys after some searching with no luck I figured I'd write something up. I have heard custom offsets were available by Crager but couldn't find specific instructions or a thread with details so here goes... Ive seen multiple threads looking for 15x10 wheels available in custom offsets and for the most part you'll find results for Bogarts or Weld among others. There is also the option to have your wheels widened which is definitely an option if you want to invest a couple hundred dollars per wheel. For those of you on a budget and don't mind some additional weight I'd recommend Crager. The majority as you'll see choose the Soft 8's (like myself). Now unfortunately you must order through one of Crager's vendors, I chose Summit. The process isn't as complicated as you might think.

After calling Crager directly to request specific instructions on how to order a custom offset, I was surprised to find out how easy it is. Choose the wheel you'd like and they press the center section in according to the back space that you request up to 6-7/8 MAX then weld it up. All at a cost of $10 to $20 extra per wheel.

Now as far as ordering directly from summit. (Specifically 15x10 6x5.5 Black Soft 8). Call with Part# CRR-3975160-SPEC and have them specify in the notes the Back space you'd like and thats it. They'll send the order to Crager and they'll be dropped shipped directly back to you.

All said and done Ive got two Custom 15x10 6-7/8 Backspacing for $169.92 Shipped to my door.

I know for some this is most likely useless information because they don't care for steel wheels but for those in the market for a nice affordable drag wheel I hope this helps. If anyone has anything to add please feel free.

Nice writeup. A member on here, Oakley, also got the custom BS soft 8s from Cragar. Problem is they're extremely heavy for a 15. I think he was saying something like 30+ lbs each.

I agree they definitely are, but non the less they're an affordable wheel to get guys racing until they can afford some Bogarts (like myself lol)

Hey guys I apologize for the delay I'm currently deployed so I don't have much time to keep up with the site but here's a few pictures. I ended up going with a 275/60 instead of a 315 which would have most likely fit with a little persuasion but that big a tire would've hurt more than anything. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the wheels without tires mounted but as you can see they fit great! Also got the front end PTM!!

Damn that looks good, I went with the 15x8 on mine with a 275 and it bulges past the bed a little.

Thank you I'm very happy with how well they fit. For what they cost if you ever want to try the 15x10s at least you know you won't have to break the bank doing so haha.
