Default 8 point roll bar

Anybody install one with stock seats and door panels? I'm not seeing room for side bars.

Probably should have put this in the drag racing section.

Nobody has modified the stock seats?

Well that, or at least not in the GMT800 and OLDER section! I assume your asking about your 04?

I bought a 10 point kit from S&W Race Parts for my 98, but I haven't got around to trying to install it yet. They have kits for the newer trucks too.

I have an s&w race cars in my 2000 rcsb silverado. The stock seats don't work very well. The seat belt box on the seat hits the rear loop. You can't move the seat back very far.

Yes, 2004 Av. Trying to keep it (closer to) street legal...LOL. Then again, tech probably won't like street legal seats/belts....can't win.

Definitely a squeeze to get a bar in there....particularly with factory door panels.

I don't think the main hoop and rear bars will be too noticeable through the factory tinted side glass if painted black. Top of the midgate will have to be notched to keep the rear bars inside.
