So my truck is a 4x4 but im launching in 2wd.

should I be running 4x4 down the 1/4 what are the benefits to either or?

 

are you having major traction issues in 2wd?
is it a manual t-case or electronic?

 

A few of the faster trucks on here are 4x4. Some shift out of 4wd at the 1-2 shift and get the best of both worlds.

 

come to think of it, i think Parish runs 9s & 10s in 4 all the way

 

no traction issues better tires and traction bars can't fix just curious cause when I raced my diesels we put em in 4hi and sat there on the brakes building boost. and than we launched hard and never looked back

I have a manual T-case btw.

 

if you can hook in 2, i'd say leave it that way & don't rob yourself of that power. i don't believe the manual t-case will unlock under load, so you'd be in 4 all the way down.
