Default 3600 converter

Just curious after i install my circle d 3600 converter and pb lvl2 tranny and take out the 20-30% tm what you think ill be running. The converter should get my 60' down quite a bit and with my 1/4 mph id think high 13s? But that would be cutting off over .8. Is my cam really killing my low end that much? I hope so lol. What you guys think? Times from Friday
R/T .274
60' 2.436
330 6.580
1/8 9.816
MPH 76.61
1000 12.553
ET 14.832
MPH 99.36

That speed is good for a mid 13 in our trucks. Do you have the 5.3 or a 6.0? that converter might cost you a little speed, but I would be amazed if you didnt run 13's with the converter. What gears do you have? Its crazy how high your 1/4 trap speed is and how low your 1/8 trap speed is.

5.3 with 3.73s. just a dog off the line. Cam comes into power at about 3600 or so. cam is 224/230 .581/.591 110lsa. its funny you know, raced a tundra friday and up until i hit 2nd i was at his back doors and as soon as i hit 2nd i put 3 lengths on him at the finish.

Cam will love the converter. .8 is doable with just a converter swap. Not only are you going to pickup off the line, but your shift extension is not going to drop below about 4500 to 4700 which will help dramtically also.

To hit high 13s would seem dificult with just a converter but considering your cam right now is certainly isn't out of the question.

Do you have tires to hold since you will be leaving with twice the HP with the new converter? Otherwise the converter is going to loose you more then it gains.

Assuming you can get traction I dont see any reason why you couldnt shave almost half a second off your 60' time. Thats good for just about a second on your ET

Yea i know traction will be an issue. Im looking into a set of drs. Will def need the drs when finished with mods. After these im putting a set of heads, lsxrt intake, 4.30s and truetrac on also.
