Default 2pc driveshaft loops

i have a 2pc ds on my ecsb silverado. im gonna be runing slicks this year so i need a drive shaft loop. do i put one 6in from trans yoke and another loop 6in back from the carrier bearing yoke? then should i put one closer to the rear to stop carnage? any one done this? thanks.

wow, never thought about that. Definitely on 6" in from trans yoke and I'd assume you need one after the carrier as well. I wouldn't put one near the rear, if it breaks there it should come off that yoke pretty quick. However if it isn't much to ya to put one there then do it.

I've asked about this, it only "requires" one behind the trans, but putting one behind the carrier and definitely in front of the rear wouldnt be unwise.

I have a 1 pce drive shaft, but have to loops I made for it.. It is a good idea for sure. I have seen them break in the back, beat the hell out of chit..
