4400 is light. My truck in the SIG weighed 4300 with me in it(180). That was with no spare, tailgate, spare tire winch assembly, tubular lowers, and quite a bit of weight removed from the exhaust I would think 4800 would be more correct. That's still pretty light. I want to say denmahs weighed right around 5000-5100. Don't quote me on that though.
Edit: Just checked, denmahs weighed 5060 with him in it.

There's no way you lost 600lbs by sectioning the frame that little bit and doing a shorter bed... There's not that much material there...
... Unless you're talking about the weight savings from removing front brakes or cutting holes in your frame rails for side pipes... Now that might get ya there...

The shortening I think dropped me about 300-400 lbs if I am correct. I don't believe I removed much else when I went from long bet to short. Less frame, 4 links vs. leafs, and shorter bed.

anything besides guesses?? have you EVER had the thing across some certified scales? I'd be willing to bet your still several hundred pounds heavier than a half ton RCSB. heavier suspension parts, heavy rearend, heavier frame.... how bout something besides speculation...
4400-4800 is stock RCSB half ton territory, not a 3/4 ton long bed. I know these figures to be fact, not guesses

Yes. It was on a scale 3 times. It was years ago. I will dig the slips if I can.
Stock as I bought it. 4800 I think
The usual stuff out. 4400 I think
Short bed, 4link. 4200 I think.
Let me see if I can confirm that.

I just looked and found about 75 time slips but no weight tickets. I just saw the lightest one a few weeks ago. 4280 I am 99.9% certain was the weight with out me in it.
I am thinking it is out in the garage in my tool box possibly. It is pouring rain and I will look for it later or tomorrow.
