Listen you rambling lying fool....press 1 to read the **** I typed...I said lets lay money on the line
You dont run any of us for sheetmetal...Im doing **** for a nuc plant
So come up north and lets show how much of that BS is true you speak
You have a youtube account start searching..Many members posted on it from this site but since a RGV didnt do it or canr use youtube or search it must not be true
Offer stands...come up and well race for a few stacks....youll need to pass the scales prior to burnout box, motor will be subject to inspection for actual cubes size
As for excuses seems as only one making **** up is you...if you have this 5.3 block truck and its the fastest as you claim come put it on the line
Hopefully yours isnt a 1 hit wonder like other RGV trucks
Otherwise untill you got 9.4 you arent fastest 5.3 full size

The fastest 5.3 period has been in the 4's in the 1/8

I'll add this little bit just for everyone to think about.
I have a race truck, no denying that (although I was in denial when I built it). Most have followed or at least looked through my build thread. There was a decent amount of attention paid to the idea of loosing weight. Would I call my truck "gutted"? No, but it's not far. The last time it ran, I had stock frame rails and body panels and the cab has not been cut up. Other than that, the rest of the truck is pretty minimal.....and my pile of **** was still 4110 lbs on the starting line with me in it. I'm 240, so 3870 w/o me in it.
I was both shocked and pissed when we scaled it cause I would have put money it would have been at least under 3800 and was hoping for closer to 3600 and I wasn't even close. It is no daisy getting getting these things sub 4000 lbs. especially with a power adder and A2W intercooler.
I'm told Spikes white truck is around 2900 on the starting line. I don't give a **** who you are but it just isn't right comparing a truck with one that is 1200 lbs lighter, even if it still looks the part.
When La Canala hit the scene, every one was saying it was right around 4000 lbs. on the starting line. I never had the opportunity to see the truck in person so I have zero opinion, however......it later starting coming out that the thing was "less than 4000 lbs.", "3850 lbs.", "3700 lbs." and on and on. There are probably only a few people that know what that truck actually weighed.......and those people aint gonna post about it. Moral of the story here is........it takes a **** ton of power to run 7.8's at 4000 lbs. I'm gonaa say 1800+.
Flaco's old farm truck (the RGV whatever its called now)........is still claimed to be at or around 4000 lbs. last I heard. I can believe that. We had very similar built trucks except the power adder. When I raced him at SAR in 2014, they where on low boost 20 psi as was I at 17 psi boost, and our times where not that far off. It does blow my mind though that it has run as quick as 8.0's at a claimed 32 psi boost. Typically a 9.0 truck at 4000 lbs and an 8.0 truck at 4000 lbs. would be a minimum of a 600 horsepower increase to do. Does that truck pick up 600+ hp from 20 psi to 32 psi? **** if I know.

We wish spikes truck was at 2900 !!! Do you know how much money he spent for the tubular chassis? That i belive other full chassis truck be around 4k lbs ? No i dont belive it , spike with full chassis was at 3650! Right now as it sits truck weight was 34xx so u think after all that money to loose 200 pounds its worth it ? Truck hasnt been pushed to more then 26 psi its way different when your going up to 40psi ! Spike concentrate it on the 60ft thats why the truck could run the number ! But he was pretty pissed off when he wasted the money to make it lighter and it didnt happen , before motor and everything else truck alone weighted 28xx ! And anytime u see it in a track drop by we can put it in a scale

In SAR shootout 2013 I and another member walked over and spoke to amedeo himself as driver was getting out of truck aftet its pass...dude i was with asked him and he goes 3000lbs with driver...the driver was low 200s ish for weight (givr or take) now truck is heavier all of sudden
Person i was with looked all thru out the truck and saw all what was done

If im telling u the weight is 34xx is because truck was scaled before the record run! I dont have to lie , remember there was things added ! Truck alone weight was 28xx with no motor or trans or power adders! Bro i dont have to lie ! Im not the one saying a single cab weights 4700! But watever seems u know more then the people who actually work or are around the truck!

Theres a lot of shadyness from that area as why everything you guys post is questioned...this goes back to the 2000 days when claimed 6.0s were 4xx cubes or jet sizes drilled out
As for 4700 thats easy....4500 is very easy when a driver is 200lbs and truck has every single option along with a system when it ran back in the day
