Default 1st run the year and a new best 1/4

I got to the track late but they were having a late night(open till 2 am). Weather was alright, cool high 60's with a light breazy blowing down the track. It had rained before I got there so I got to sit for awhile before getting in my only run of the night. the only change from last July run was I'm running the 3.o pulley and stock steel 17 rims with 245/70/17 tires. Had half tank of gas and some junk in the truck plus bed cover and stock trim. Here's my new best:

60 ft. - 1.848
T2 - 5.351
1/8 - 8.311
1/8 mph - 81.85
1/4 - 13.187
1/4 mph - 98.192

I've been told the lane I ran in the trap speed is slow for some reason and I'm pretty sure I was over 100 mph when I crossed the 1/4 line. Truck ran great. Started raining pretty good after my run so I gave up and left around 12:30 am. Old best was 13.69 so the pulley change, tire switch and cool weather helped a lot. I'll get a pic and post the time slip. If I had less gas in the truck, less junk and dropped the spare and tailgate I probably could have dipped into the 12's

You'd be in the 12's if you ran without the bedcover and the junk in the bed...Congrats on your new best!

Here's my mods:
Radix SC with 3.0 pulley, Boost & Fuel Pressure Phantom II gauges, Tru-Cool trans cooler, Outlaw CAI for Radix, Volant ram air scoop, 160 stat, magnecore plug wires, plugs, flopro dual in/out muffler, dynatech headers & cats, zippy shift kit, TBTC, Eagle Alloy 22" 026 rims wrapped in Kumho 305/40/22 tires, Belltech 2" drop spindles and shackles, Goodmark Cowl hood with ram air and tuned by Zippy. Mods to Install: crank pinning kit

I ran with some steel 17 rims so that helped dropped some weight but half a tank of gas, junk in the truck and soft bed cover did add more weight so I think 12's are possible with my current mods.

Congrats neighbor! Every 100 lbs of weight is about a .1 of time. Were you in the left lane? When you're ready to pin the crank bring it by. I'm a pro at it now

Yep left lane. I thought my mph should have been a few higher. I know I was right at 100 mph when I crossed the 1/4. I'll do that Roger after I get my set of efans. That clutch fan takes up a lot of room.
