On another note I thought about it, why was my '07 was so much slower than my '05? The '05 2wd had 17's and weighed ~ 4500 and my '07 4wd weighed ~4850 and had heavy 20's. Those were the only differences. The fact that I reduced the time from 10.39 to 7.64 still on 20's on 8.5lbs boost with an STS gives me great hope for this one! I'm starting out 1 1/4 seconds ahead already!

 

My 60' is 1.95. Pretty disappointing with DRs, DA rear shocks & Caltracs. The 1-2 shift is a killer. I'll be getting DA coilovers in the front soon so if I can get the front to unload, I'm hoping to finally hit a 1.8 60'.

 

Well you're making some power and when you get the 60' down you'll definitely be there no question.

 

My buddy has a 9 sec trailblazer so you should believe me also. That blue truck is cam'd with full boltons and dr's running a 106 trap. I am not underestimating these 5.3 di, i am just being realistic with power and weight. Now theres always going to surprise here and there but a stock truck with a tune is not going to magically make up 75hp.
