You wouldn't be interested in sharing that tune would you?

Damn strong mph! What's not to love? I am so impressed with these new trucks. My '05 bone stock RCSB 2WD ran a 9.84. My '07 RCSB 4WD ran a 10.39. The '14 4WD ran 9.13. Lots of potential for sure!

A stock 5.3 running a 100mph trap weiging 5k lbs, don't think so thats like 425 ish hp; even with a kn and tune still no way.

I trap 100 mph in a crew cab putting down 420 to the wheels, definately room for improvement but also almost 100 more 100hp than stock 5.3.

Chuck Anders did a single-cab 5.3 (13 or 14 model) that ran 12.9 @ 106 with full bolt-ons.

How could you say that it's no way if I'm telling you that my friends truck ran that. Not only that truck has ran those times. Another friend of mine that I showed him how to tune ran a 13.7 also at 100 mph with same mods. You are underestimating this 5.3 DI's. I am messing with the VVT. Just for ***** and giggles I should mess with mine and even get it to run a lot faster than the 13.6

I wouldn't doubt this man at all (roadkill) man knows he's ****! And has built and tuned some seriously fast trucks and cars. I'm not doubting him that those trucks ran what he said they ran.

My truck is running consistent 14.2 & 99.5 right now.

And a board member can vouch for that as we ran together @ Texas Motorplex during the truck fest thing.

Man... these newer 5.3s are strapped to a heavier truck and still make the older 5.3s seem like turds.

Looks like my LQ4/80E swap will barely keep up with a stock DI 5.3

I better start planning more mods...
