yes thats explains why with good gas it picked up mph
Mine will do the same on cheap gas
its not a 89 or 93 octane tune,its the fact it has an aggressive timing table and will spark knock in heat on cheap gas

If that is the case then you better stop running 89! You have knock sensors but before they work you have to have knock. Meaning problems and extra abuse on the motor. Lightfooted is probably ok but any hard thorttle is a huge risk of beating up on your motor.

it will pull timing before you hurt the motor thats what the knock sensors do
soon as it senses knock it pulls timing

yep. i run expensive **** now. TRUCKSHOP threw one hell of a tune on here and i was only running 89. 91 octane really woke it up. i was seeing if 89 knocked or not and didn't really hear anything. but 91 realy proved its power. i want to see gray matter 04 on drag radials. that will be one hell of a time there!!! his **** is fast! All in all, im happy!
