13.001 on 3.42's
#1
well guys 2 weeks ago i managed a 13.001 at 101.81 with a 1.796 60 foot with my 3.42's full weight only the tailgate was removed and i spun threw the 60 foot because of a small drizzle that finished the night early,
and i have one quetion do u think it is possible for me to get into the 12.80 range with the same setup just better traction?
mods are as follows full boltons, 224 tr cam, built tranny and 3200 pi converter and of course 3.42 rear end gearing and 26 inch et streets rcsb

I must say your times are very impressive for the mods on your truck. I think 12's are very possible. If the light drizzle was the only thing holding you from better 60' times, I would try to remove some unnecessary weight on your truck. The passenger seat, hitch, spare tire, etc. are all easy to remove and should be enough to hit 12's.

i have video of his run and it actually is not a dead hook. if we can ever get to run our truck when the DA is negative chapita, (we always run when its +), we'll get some better times. be patient..
