I bought that converter off a buddy with a free stall so i sent it out with my weight and hp, it will stall between 2800-3200 depending on if it pushes through the brakes and will flash the same depending on how fast boost comes in.

it is a little loose for my pocket book regarding gas milage, normal driving will be around 2400 - 2800 just to get moving with traffic, maybe around 3000-3200. the other thing i dont like is lock-up, since the converter is a little looser, lock-up will cause rpms to drop alot and then you will get that thud so i had to raise the lock-up point to about 54 mph, its still there but is manageable.

otherwise for a toy, its great, i beleave it is livable.

Ill be interested to hear how that works out for you!

Regarding the lock up, I have mine set at 52 mph even with the 4.10s....GM has it locking at 36 from the factory LOL. I hate low lock up....where I got it setup now you cant even tell when it locks up in terms of a very small rpm drop. But I suppose they set it low to increase gas mileage.

it all depends on why my tps is specificaly at that mph lock-up point for me, sometimes i really cant feel it but with my driving habits and the area i drive in, it tends to get anoying

Congrats on those times, that's moving especially considering the weight of the truck. What do you think your RWH is?

it made 556 cutout closed but the front shaft was removed, (AWD), so there is some loss there. ill have to run a HP calculator latter to see what it is close to.
