I notice that there are guys that have trucks that are quicker than 11.50 but do not have roll cages. how are you guys getting away with that?

 

some tracks enforce that rule and some dont....Ive seen trucks go deep in the 10s here and nothing is said.... theyre harder on driveshaft loops and battery shutoffs than they are on cages at my track...

No, I consider Evadale (Ben Bruce Memorial raceway park) my track... HRP would likely be more strict on the rules... Evadale is a small backwoods track...

 

is this a 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile, and where is it ??? not that im running fast enough to need a cage, but always good to know where other tracks are at

 

I think alot has to do if it is a affiliated track or not

depends on the day... I ran 11.4x about ten time without a word. The next time out, a guy runs 11.3x and is booted his first run...

 

Ben Bruce is in Evadale, TX... Its an IHRA 1/4 mile track... A few from the site have been out there... Blue5.3, v8, rfoster, myself... And others... Its a little less than 2hrs away from Houston. And generally speaking, its a well prepped/groomed/managed track and the lines go 100x faster than HRP....

 

It's about time for another trip out there Ben!!! I am ready to see how that truck of yours is running. I don't think I want a ride though, I would end up having to spend some more money that I don't have lol
