I ended up only getting two runs in and was on street tires. I didnt do much weight reduction besides take out the back seat. I dropped the tail gate to try and get some weight on the *** end... The track was greasy as hell...

on the bottle, it was cutting out bad on the top end. I'm going to try and clean and regap the plugs and see how it runs again. Its WAY too rich... Whats that compute into a 1/4 mile?? I know it wont be too impressive but it will give me hope since this thing turns on the last 1/2 of the track.


Lance... Sneeky Pete was running 8-ohs pretty much all night... he was pulling 1.9 short times on his John Force tires...

 

An 8.9 will get ya a 14.0 1/4 ET.

Silver, what track you running at ? Summerduck, Colonial Beach, Old Dominion ? I go to Summerduck and Colonial Beach most of the time. Just wondering, see your in the Marines and figured Quantico. If local maybe we should get together at the track one night. Later.

 

He's stationed in Norfolk. I was there a year and a half ago with him. Usually we go to VMP, I've been to MIR a few times. These passes he made were in Elizabeth City, NC, it's an 1/8mi track.

We'll be at Super Chevy Show @ VMP in June, you should come out! It's a good time.

Where bouts is the Old Dominion track?

 

Okay, I've been to VMP and there is another: Richmond Dragway also. Don't get to MIR much but I need some 1/4 mile times. Old Dominion is in Manasas, about 45 min. NE of Fredericksburg. I wanna go to Super Chevy, if so I'll drop a line and we can hang a while.

 

I'm not sweating the 1/8 times any... I know it has some 12-oh's in it on the bottle... with some tires.

 

definitely make some plans for super chevy man... its a blast... even if you dont go and run, you'll have a great time. I'm getting trailered up this year

 

ive raced at the beach before. the beach is real clost to me. but i mostly go to MIR. a few of us truck guys are going to try and go on friday if the weather holds out.
