Good luck with the run, my buddies QC ran 13.5 completely stock. There are some that have hit high 12's with some minor mods, I think depending on how he drives it should be a good race.

Reaction does count! It should be a good race if he doesn't fall asleep at the light. I drive through Pasadena alot I'll keep my eyes open. BTW let your buddy know about VTCOA.com. (Viper Truck Club Of America)

bump up the shot, lose the wheels and you stand a chance. dont fall asleep and hopefully he's not too good with the driving. srt10's are hard to drive from what i hear so chances are he wont be able to handle the power.

Newbie is going to boil the tires off of the line trying to get out there on you. Just get a good launch and you'll show him your taillights. Oh, yeah, up the shot just for alittle back up plan.
I wouldn't waste money on the maf. That is money that can be spent elsewhere.

the quad cab has an auto and doesn't spin.
you might have a tough time keeping up with one.
flyinglow's ran a 12.70's with very little mods done to it.

The QC is automatic and has better traction than the RC manual so it is easier to drive.
